A series of site-specific performances by Seifeddine Manai and Marion Castaillet Dhomps with the dancers of MoDem CZD, Young Collective of the Zappalà Danza Company.
The city of Catania will host urban dance attacks in non-conventional places: the Benedictine Monastery- home of the Humanities Department of the University of Catania- will be the venue of a first performance, in which the physicality will find expression within this magnificent architectural setting- symbol of ideas and knowledge. In the Castello Ursino Museum, installations and choral activities will be developed inside the halls of the Federician monument, symbol of the birth of the Sicilian poetic school. The third performance will conquer the metropolitan stations of the city, at 5.00 pm at the Stesicoro station. In the latter stage, live music of Jacaranda will be performing – Little Etna Youth Orchestra, under the banner “Catania si muove!”, in collaboration with our partner Ferrovia Circumetnea.
