She was born in 1982 in Catania abd she started to study dance with Cettina Pandolfo, and afterwards at the CSD in  Catania. Between 2002 and 2004 she attended the biennial specializing course Modem studio atelier of the Compagnia Zappalà Danza, participating to several workshops held by choreographers Virgilio Sieni, Aurelio Gatti, Monica Casadei, Alessandro Certini, Emilio Calcagno, Philippe Ménard, Roberto Zappalà and others . She danced in various productions such as the  Logic of the birds multimedial prject by Shirin Neshat , La dove muore il tempo by Aurelio Gatti and Il giovane Holden by Elio Gimbo. In september 2004 she started her collaobration with the Compagnia Zappalà Danza.
