Hermes Gaido, Alfonso Barón, Luciano Rosso

Hermes Gaido – director, playwright – Actor, musician, pedagogue and director, trained in theater with Alejandro Saez. He studied at the Conservatory of Dramatic Art. As an actor he participates in several shows including “Dicen que el espíritu” by Paco Redondo, “Orquesta la giganta” at the San Martin Cultural Center, or “Macbeth” with the group Sisyphus. In 2005 he joined the renowned percussion group Choque Urbano. In 2009, with Luciano Rosso, he founded and directs the company Urraka, which does theater and music with objects. He tours in Argentina, Brazil, Uruguay. In 2009 he stages “Un Poyo Rojo” on the bill for several seasons in Buenos Aires before touring the world for years.

Alfonso Barón – performer – Actor, dancer, choreographer. As a young man he took up rugby and snowboarding before devoting himself to dance and theater. He joins several research theater groups and dance companies: the Theatre Company of the National University of Cuyo, the Contemporary Ballet of Teatro San Martín, the UNA Contemporary Dance Company, the National Contemporary Dance Company, the Combinado Argentino de Danza and the urban dance group KM29. He regularly holds workshops and classes in dance and physical theater. In 2019 we find him in the poster for the film “The Roommate” by Marcos Berger. With Un Poyo Rojo he continues an international tour started for him in 2011, when he joined the project alongside Luciano Rosso.

Luciano Rosso – performer – Dancer, actor, choreographer and percussionist, he studied classical, contemporary, African, jazz and hip hop dance; in parallel he pursued training as an actor, with Osqui Guzman, Daniel Casablanca, Hermes Gaido and Paco Redondo, and as a musician. He works voice with Magdalena Fleitas, Alberto Alonso et Tom Viano, and percussion with Santiago Albin, Gabriel Spiller et Maria Zoppi. He works with the company Nandayure, under the direction of Analía González, as a dancer, actor and choreographer. In 2001 he joined the renowned percussion group El Choque Urbano, with which he participated in “Fabricando Sonidos” and “La Nave” (shows with which he toured extensively in Argentina, Peru, Brazil, Uruguay, Paraguay, Colombia, Panama, Costa Rica, Nicaragua and Guatemala, and then Holland, South Korea, Syria). In 2009, he created “Urraka,” a show of percussion and objects, and brought to the stage as the main character “Un Poyo Rojo,” directed by Hermes Gaido. In 2020, during the long lockdown Luciano Rosso creates the solo “Apocalypsinc.”
