don giovanni – il gioco di narciso

Mauro Astolfi uses all the body frequences in the pure movement in "reaction to the space", working on Riccardo Reim’s writings. Don Giovanni decomposes and composes again every time he wins a woman. He provokes in women the same passion he feels looking at his own image reflected on the mirrors. Slave of his beauty, he lives in the constant terror of growing old. It is possible to notice the echo of Molière and Mozart, with their funerary gallantry; Hoffmann’s gotic gloom; the ambiguities suggested by Byron and brought to the extreme by Perez de Ayala in his twentieth-century effeminate young man: the last mirror of Don Giovanni- in an unforeseeable consonance with Teresa d’Avila- is his own soul.
